Mark 7 nuclear bomb
Mark 7 "Thor" (or Mk 7') was the first tactical fission bomb adopted by US armed forces. It was also the first weapon to be delivered using the toss method with the help of the low altitude bombing system (LABS).
Nuclear weapon design
Nuclear weapon designs are physical, chemical, and engineering arrangements that cause the physics package of a nuclear weapon to detonate. There are three existing basic design types:
Nuclear Fission Fission | Chain Reaction | Atomic Nuclei ...
Start a chain reaction, or introduce non radioactive isotopes to prevent one. Control energy production in a nuclear reactor! (Previously part of the Nuclear Physics simulation now there are separate Alpha Decay and Nuclear Fission sims.)

The Feasibility of Nuclear Energy as a Major Power Source written by Chris Dettmering Abstract Nuclear energy is a safe and plentiful energy source that should be used more in the United States.
What’s the Difference Between a Hydrogen Bomb and a ...
North Korea claimed that a nuclear blast on Sunday was a big advance from its previous five tests because it had successfully detonated a hydrogen bomb. But some experts suspect the North may have ...
Nazis and the Bomb | NOVA | PBS
How close were the Nazis to developing an atomic bomb? The truth is that National Socialist Germany could not possibly have built a weapon like the atomic bombs dropped on Hiroshima or Nagasaki.
The W87 Warhead The Nuclear Weapon Archive
The W87 warhead belongs to the newest missile warhead family, sharing a design similar to the W88. It was designed for use on the Peacekeeper (MX) ICBM.

Atomic & Nuclear Physics
Life and Atoms Every time you breathe you are taking in atoms. Oxygen atoms to be exact. These atoms react with the blood and are carried to every cell
Section 8.0 The First Nuclear Weapons
8.1.3 Little Boy. The design of Little Boy was completely different from Gadget Fat Man. It used the gun assembly method that had originally been proposed for the plutonium bomb.
